Designing Adaptive Organizations

Adaptive organizations are those that are designed to quickly adjust themselves by modifying their mindset, competencies, organizational structure, and workflows, with the aim of responding to new challenges caused by changes in the market, emerging technologies, or new economic scenarios.

One of the main problems companies have is they still face this organizational complexity using techniques and approaches based on an obsolete management model. In this session, we’ll identify the reasons that cause the need for change in organizations in a complex world and show new design structures and governance models that can improve your organization’s adaptability.

Miquel Rodríguez is an experienced professional who has dedicated his career helping organizations get the most out of their Digital projects and teams.

In the last 20 years Miquel has worked with medium and large enterprises to lead organizational improvements and agile transformations. He has trained thousands of professionals in Europe, USA and Latam for companies such as Telefonica, AT&T, Banco Santander, Ericsson, INDITEX, BBVA, Roche, AIRBUS, Orange, Zurich, Cuatrecasas, Coca-Cola, Nissan, Bacardi, T‐Systems and CaixaBank.

Miquel is co-author of the book "La empresa Ágil" (ed. Anaya, 2019), and has also taught at several Spanish universities. His mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan, and he is Full Business Proficient in English, being a regular speaker at international conferences.
