Product Owner Position — Spanish Speaking
As Product Owner for the company's Retails vertical, you will join a fast-growing organization making an immediate impact on the business by helping drive future growth through best-in-class innovation and product delivery.
You will be responsible for bridging the gap between the Product group and the Technology group to improve the overall quality of our payment products in use by customers. You will be responsible for adhering to business analysis standards which are provided by the Technology group, improving business analysis standards and processes, and providing quality User Stories to software development team(s). You will be accountable for a Retail product-line backlog and connecting internal teams as you lead in backlog grooming, workstream analysis and documentation necessary for the success of your product.
You will gather/elicit/prioritize requirements from stakeholders, manage product backlogs, create well-defined User Stories and flow chart diagrams, and create other artifacts to be understood by Product teams and utilized by Software development teams in the building of our technology products.
You will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate Product feature definitions and work in the analysis of IT/technology initiatives. This role will report to the Product Manager of the Product Line(s) while following the Agile processes from the Technology group.

Qualifications and Skills

Reporting to and collaborating with the Product Manager, as well as collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and document their needs and translate them into product specifications & requirements.

Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements and writing high-quality User Stores

Directing software development priorities in an Agile Product Owner role

Formatting business requirements into quality User Stories with desired business value and acceptance criteria with a groomed backlog 2.5 sprints out

Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, product support groups and user enablement.

Monitoring and evaluating product and sprint progress at each stage of the product development process.

Participate in Scrum meetings: product & sprint planning, sprint demos and retrospective meetings, ad-hoc meetings.

Groom the product backlog prioritizing items based on changing requirements.

Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables and identify opportunities and risks.

Assist in documenting the user experience for internal/external users, including software, support, and monitoring.

Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users, product, and technology.

Analyze and interpret agile reporting metrics.
Requirements

A minimum of 4-6 years of experience participating in technology product direction, go-to-market strategy, and design with data-driven decisions.

A minimum of 3 years of agile product ownership experience with Retail products. Working with stakeholders to scope new product features in a Scrum/Agile environment, writing high quality EPIC/User Stories, backlog management, agile ceremonies, managing issues/risks and other related disciplines to enable effective delivery.

A proven track record in successfully managing initiatives and delivering high-quality products in a medium to large size organization where you have been involved in the development and integration of a large-scale solution for internal and external customers.

Experience researching and gathering feedback from target markets, customers, and users (e.g., through competitive analysis, usability studies, interviews, tests, etc.), determining the viability of the product and driving efforts to refine and/or pivot product development direction accordingly.

Ability to plan effectively and achieve targets, manage project financials from inception through to post-completion financial reviews, forecast spending, monitor, and stick to budgets.
