Scrum Master Position

Required Skills

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of launching and scaling Agile teams.

Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and the ability to apply them effectively in diverse environments.

Coaching Skills: Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing individuals and teams.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent; additional Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Agile Coach, Kanban Management Professional) are a plus.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive change and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum Practices: Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them through Agile practices and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and ceremonies.

Kanban Implementation: Leverage Kanban methodologies to optimize workflow and enhance delivery efficiency within the organization.

Agile Coaching: Provide hands-on coaching to teams and individuals, helping them adopt Agile practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Team Launching and Scaling: Lead the launch of new Agile teams, ensuring they are set up for success and can scale effectively.

Remove Obstacles: Identify and address impediments that may hinder team progress, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster open communication within the team and with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals and progress.

Continuous Improvement: Promote and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to reflect on and refine their processes.

Mentorship: Mentor team members and emerging Scrum Masters, sharing knowledge and best practices to build a strong Agile community within the organization.

Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Work Enviroment

The role will primarily function within the professional IT and business office environments located in Miami; some occasional business travel is required. The space complies with safety, environment, health, and accessibility requirements. The work environments are maintained to reinforce collaboration, motivation, and innovation to help maintain a vibrant and distinctive culture and a diverse workforce.
