Scrum Master Position — Bilingual (Spanish/English Required)
Seeking Spanish-Speaking Contracted Scrum Masters. Must be willing to accept off shore rate, fluent in Spanish, and available to work on EST. The contract is for 1 year and may be extended, with a structured development plan and support from an experienced Agile Coach.
The new SM will be onboarded with a structured development plan. The SM will be managed and supported by an experienced Agile Coach from Transformation Experts. The agile coach will provide a playbook for launching and supporting their agile team. The Agile Coach will run the SM Community of Practices and pair up with the SM until they have shown their capabilities to effectively function as a SM.

Primary Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Guide the team through all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among team members.

Coach and Mentor: Serve as a coach to the team on Agile and Scrum practices, helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.

Remove Impediments: Identify and remove blockers or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.

Ensure Product Quality: Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is groomed and maintained with clear priorities and that the team is focused on delivering high-quality increments.

Foster Team Self-organization: Encourage team self-organization and cross-functionality. Help the Scrum Team to understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.

Facilitate Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the development team and project stakeholders to foster better communication and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement: Lead and facilitate the team's efforts in continuous improvement by reviewing the work done and the processes used, suggesting improvements for future sprints.
Qualifications and Skills

Certification: Professional Scrum Master (PSM) I certification or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) required. Advanced certifications (e.g., PSM II, PSM III, A-CSM) are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile teams.

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Scrum and other Agile frameworks and software engineering practices, as well as the ability to apply them in a practical way.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to foster open communication and encourage a collaborative team environment.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with the team to overcome challenges.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to support and empower the team to achieve their highest potential.

Additional Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps), Agile/Scrum software development management tools, and basic knowledge of software development.

Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building.
